Drug Policy and Harm Reduction Programmes for Adolescents in Iran
The following is a thesis by Leila Moeeni, a human rights advocate and social entrepreneur, focused on encouraging effective human rights education through developing the skills to promote, defend and apply human rights in daily life of young people.
She holds a law degree from the University of Tehran and a master’s degree in Human Rights and Research Methods at the University of Essex’s Centre for Human Rights. In addition, Leila runs online training platforms promoting civil and political rights and participation for journalists and activists in MENA region as well as co-instructs health and human rights courses in collaboration with Global Institute for Health and Human Rights, University of Albany.
She is the founder of Edutainment for Youth focussed on developing interactive human right education programmes for youth using new media and innovative tools.
