Persia Presents series of community education lectures began in 2018. This is an effort to provide high calibre lectures, educational opportunities and professional training for the community at large. The aim of the series is to elevate the level of information and knowledge among Persian-speakers and others interested. The focus of presentations will remain on three thematic foci of Persia, namely, education, mental health and freedom from violence. Since its inception, Persia has co-hosted an event marking International Women’s Day as well as two lectures by world-renowned experts: World Bank economist, Dr. Augusto Claros-Lopez; and Director of Education at Jubilee Centre at Birmingham University, Dr. Tom Harrison.
On Sunday, 3 March 2019, Persia hosted a community education workshop for parents and teachers of Iranian-British students. The workshop was hosted at Tarbiat School and featured Dr. Nahid Hosseini (Manoto) and Ms. Maryam Keshavarz (Farsophone).
