Character and Civic Education

Preparing the Next Generation for Success

P.E.F. is pleased to announce the launch of its Character and Civic Education Camps in early 2018. Character and Civic Education (CCE) provide training in self and social skills that are essential for a successful life in an ever-changing world. The training stages enable each child to explore and develop their capabilities at three levels:

Intrapersonal (5, 6, 7 year olds)

This stage involves a process of ‘self-literacy’ (who am I? Why am I here?) by assisting the learner to engage in creative thinking, investigative independence, and decision making in order to explore what values are their strengths.

Interpersonal (8, 9, 10 year olds)

This stage pivots around becoming functional in group dynamics through team work, problem solving, communication, multimedia literacy, and problem solving in order to help the learner develop the values they are best at.

Social (11, 12, 13 year olds)

This stage focuses the learner on the parallel process of improving self & society by learning time management, critical thinking, and conflict resolution so to discover how changes and challenges in life can lead to opportunities if one is committed to better one’s self and environment as part of a single continuum.

This educational process assists learners to explore the best hard and soft skills that are inherent to each child. This is so they not only prepare for, but positively impact the changes that are shaping our world. CCE training will begin as term camps in early 2018. Presentations for caregivers and parents are also available on bespoke basis. Watch our website and social media for more details in early 2018 and/or email us at: [email protected]
